For April Fools’ Day 2011 we worked with Autoglass to produce a spoof video claiming to demonstrate self-repairing glass on a mobile phone. The phone is hit with a hammer and the crack then magically disappears.
The effects for this were applied using Adobe After Effects and an actor was used to play the part of the Lexmark spokesperson. The video was extremely well received with over 40,000 views on YouTube along with some very positive YouTube comments.
The video was launched in exclusive association with Pocket-lint who reported about it on their site on April 1st.
